Welcome, I am an Amateur Extra ham radio enthusiast living near Portland Oregon.  I am active in HF, UHF, VHF home based, mobile, satellite and a member of Washington County ARES.  Like so many Hams I am an older, reasonably cranky grandpa.

I volunteer with ARES to assist in communications when the big one comes and with the Washington County Juvinile Department as an At Risk Youth Mentor.
